Name: Rosemary O'Donoghue
What do you do?
I look after people's feet
What is your background?
I was born in Essex and went to school there. At first I used to work in newspapers.
How did you become a Pediatrist?
By accident, I met one at a party and the job seemed interesting.
What qualifications do you need and how long does it take?
You need science A-levels especially Physics and Chemistry. Then you do three years training at one of about ten colleges in Britain.
What is the most difficult thing about the job?
Getting people to look after your feet. Nobody ever tells you how to cut your toes carefully! They can grow into the skin and this happens a lot especially to teenage boys! But don't worry too much about Verrucaes, look at our web page for more information.
What is the best thing about the job?
I really like the people, helping them with their problems and sorting them out.
